As an editor of nearly two decades of creative work and critical nonfiction, I offer my services for manuscript consultations to writers who have a full manuscript of a book they seek publication of, whether through self publishing or traditional trade publishing. I edit novels, providing edits on the structural and developmental levels as well as edits at the level of the line, qualified as a critically acclaimed novelist with years of experience editing fiction for journals. I edit serious academic work such as biographies or political nonfiction and am qualified in all styles of citation. My proudest accomplishment as a book editor is the work I did on the first ever published biographical book of the multi-medium Black Arts Movement elder and political foremother to so many Toni Cade Bambara, A Joyous Revolt, for which I’m recognized in the book’s acknowledgements. If you’d like to help support me and get phenomenal support for your work by seeking a manuscript consultation with me, reach out to me on my contact form and we’ll talk about fair rates. Looking forward to hearing from you and I treasure the opportunity to help bring your work to its best at its early stages!
